Our №61 release by Antias!

The track “Interrupt” is a confession in the ambient techno genre. Instead of words, I unburden myself with a seven-minute track on an analog synthesizer, complementing it with kick, bass, and drums. Percussion and noise are stylized to sound like Deepchord; thanks to him I became part of this genre.

In the summer of 2018, I and A. had been texting for several months, being in different parts of Russia. Already in July, we met in the Caucasus Mountains area and had a nice walk along Arkhyz. A month later, we were already in Moscow, together. A twenty-eight-year-old romantic boy and a twenty-year-old sage woman. I felt like we were one. In May 2019, we could have had a son. But he would not have been born. His heart stopped beating on November 15, 2018.

Doctors predicted terrible diagnoses like Down syndrome or stillbirth. We had to take our son's life. How do you like that? The main theme of the track was written on December 25, when we parted ways with A. This piece of music is about love that did not pass the test of grief. A wound that will bleed for life. A sense of guilt that has taken root inward.

For a long time, I have been thinking about whether to release this track and tell our story. Even though A. and I don’t communicate, she supported me in this. Every time I listen to it, tears come to my eyes. Don't make my mistakes. Stay together in joy and sorrow because this is the maturity of love.
